Lavazza Coffee Station (2019)

The Lavazza Coffee Station is a project I developed during my time at Komm Design. Inspired by the To-Go concept, it translates the essence of the Italian brand into a compact, contemporary format — bringing Lavazza’s premium coffee experience to different locations through mobile design that blends tradition, innovation, and functionality.

Developed from a 10-foot container, the station was designed to maximize every inch of available space, ensuring a full coffee operation managed by a single barista. Customer interactions are handled through tablets, enhancing both efficiency and modernity, while the exterior design reflects Lavazza’s distinctive style and visual identity.

Conceived as an itinerant system, the module can be easily transported by a small truck, allowing its presence at events, fairs, or strategic urban locations. This mobility embodies Lavazza’s innovative spirit — a brand that, since 1895, has combined artisanal tradition with technology and creativity.

More than just a point of sale, the Lavazza Itinerant Station serves as a moving showcase of the brand’s philosophy: bringing the pleasure of high-quality coffee wherever people are, while upholding Lavazza’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and timeless Italian design.
