INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

Star Wars Pop-Up Store (2015)
This project was developed during my time at Komm Design as part of a street-level activation for the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The concept involved transforming a 10-foot shipping container into a themed pop-up store, bringing the essence of the Star Wars universe directly to the public through immersive branding and the sale of licensed merchandise.
The design drew inspiration from iconic elements of the franchise, blending visual references from the X-Wing starfighter with the sandcrawler vehicle used by the Jawa people of Tatooine. The metallic façade, industrial details, and antenna structures created a futuristic, sci-fi aesthetic that resonated with fans and passersby alike.
Equipped with four hydraulic pistons—one at each corner—the container could be elevated and transported by a custom-adapted truck, allowing for flexible deployment across multiple urban locations. Inside, the space was carefully curated to showcase apparel, comic books, and collectibles, while reinforcing the film’s launch through strong visual storytelling.
This project exemplifies my approach to experiential design: merging cinematic narrative, brand strategy, and spatial creativity to deliver memorable, high-impact activations.
