University Final Project (2012)

The STR2.0 was created to meet the needs of streetball, a growing urban version of basketball in Brazil. Inspired by NBA legend Dennis Rodman and his strong street culture ties, the design focuses on durability, comfort, and a bold visual identity.

Its upper uses synthetic leather and rubber textured like a basketball for extra grip and resistance. A unique outsole pattern provides traction, while hidden laces beneath a zipper keep the look clean and secure during play.

Lightweight yet robust, the STR2.0 delivers performance and style, translating the energy of streetball into a sneaker that stands out on and off the court.

In this revisit, I used AI tools to refine the design and presentation of the STR2.0. Artificial intelligence enabled faster 3D exploration, quick color and texture variations, and high-quality visuals, making the creative process more agile and the final presentation more impactful.
